Looking For Suggestions On Infertility Clinics In Bellevue Area, WA
I am a 35 years woman diagnosed with PCOS in 2006. I have been trying to conceive since 5 years and have been on and off meds like clomid, letrozole which have helped me ovulate but not conceive. I had irregular periods for which I was using medication too. I got so fed up last year and I wanted to heal myself naturally, stopped all the meds and started one meal a day and work outs. I have lost a lot of weight and my period is regular now, though the cycle length varies between 31-33 days and… read more

Any Whole Food Recipes?
I am on no Gluten, no dairy no added sugars and watching other ingredients but I am so damn tired of eating salad and the same meals every night. Any of you on here following a PCOS anti inflammatory diet and wish to share with me what you eat? I've made zucchini noodles in a meat sauce, I've made curried chicken salad with avocado oil mayo and lettuce with green apples, I've made countless nights of riced cauliflower, peppers, chicken and turkey.. ugh I just need other options. Help?
Start cooking with anti-inflammatory herbs and spices: cinnamon, cloves, cayenne, pepper, wasabi (REAL wasabi - not the horseradish fake!), ginger, etc. Simple snack idea for you to try one day: Non… read more
Possible Pituitary Issue?
My 22 year old daughter was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. Her hormones were all out of wack so she was put on Metformin and started getting her periods again, but then it stopped. Her endocrinologist had her take blood tests and it showed my daughter is not producing estrogen so she increased the Metformin and is running additional tests. She said it could be a pituitary issue and mentioned doing an internal sonogram to check the ovaries in addition to possibly doing an MRI. I think… read more
Her main symptom was not getting her period but getting the cramping. The GYN put her on birth control but advised seeing an endocrinologist. Her GYN also said her thyroid was under active as well… read more
Diagonised One Hour Ago, Anything Helpful Let Me Know Because My Doctor Didnt.
It has only been an hour since I have got home from the doctor's after being diagnosed with PCOS. I feel like my whole world has flipped upside down. My doctor gave me little to no information on this, she practically threw birth control at me and that was it. Any information would be great.
Im going to get a second opinion mostly because I hate that doctor.
Who gave you birth control? Was it a GYN or an endocrinologist? A GYN is interested in regulating your monthly cycle but if you have PCOS you should see an endocrinologist to treat the problem… read more

Cures For Non-stop Greasy Hair?
I've always had hair that feels greasy quite quickly, I've washed it every day for the last 8 years or so, but had 24 hours of pretty clean hair. I usually get a little patch above my left ear that is waxy and gross instantly after showering and stays that way for 3 days when I've got my period, but that was manageable.
Now both sides of my head are really waxy and gross 24/7. This sudden change is more than I can cope with, I'm already overweight with acne, my hair was the only thing I had… read more
