Ovasitol
Has anyone tried Ovasitol? It claims to be "a high quality, medical-grade supplement that combines both myo and d-chiro-inositol that mimic’s the body’s own ratio" and boasts it will " improve insulin sensitivity, restore hormone balance, improve ovulation and egg quality in women with PCOS."
I just ordered some and have yet to try it. Simply looking for feedback. Any reviews from your own personal experience with it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nicole
I have been using this for 15 days now. I have noticed that i'm not as hungry - i'm actually not finishing all my meals, my hair growth has slowed down a lot - hairs are even disappearing on my body! I'm sleeping throughout the night, mood is so much better and have miles on energy. Still waiting for my period, its only been two weeks though, so fingers are crossed.
I've been using Ovasitol for about a month and a half to two months. I feel like it's really helped keep my moods a little more stable as well as regulate my cycle. I am taking Clomid because we are TTC, but I don't always ovulate or have a period on time without Provera. Last cycle I skipped my Provera to see if the Ovasitol would do it's thing and I had a period right on time! I've also started losing weight again, and I feel like I have more energy on the weekends (not during the week right now though, I'm an elementary teacher just going back to school and those little boogers suck all the energy right outta me!). I also feel like my facial hair is less intense, although I still find the occasional "yikes" hair on my chin when I least expect it. I'm hoping this will be the boost my body needs to get those eggs out and my body regulated a little better.
I have been using Ovasitol for about a month now and notice a difference in mood, hair growth, period regulation, less hungry or craving the wrong foods. I do notice if i missed it for a couple days I felt a big difference and made sure to take it right away.
I haven't tried it yet but heard really good things about it. I am currently using inositol (which is similar but by itself) which has helped my hunger levels and I believe it has helped me to ovulate. But I am not TTC yet, I read an article that said to take ovasitol with folic acid or folate for optimal results :)
