I had this problem once. how often do you have your period? when you dont have a period, your lining still forms. each month that you dont ovulate, you build another lining. this becomes very thick, and can be disrupted during sex which will cause bleeding.

Hopefully someone comes along with better info than me.

I had the same issue at one point and someone told me that sometimes sex can actually cause a cyst to bleed or burst. I am not 100% convinced of that, but that is the only info I really got.

Eventually it went away.

Sorry this is so late but here's what a doctor told me. Hope this helps!

1. It could involve the cells of the cervix but the way to test is a pap smear

2. If its around the time of your cycle that can happen as well.

3. Hormone imbalance can cause it which can be a normal thing with PCOS

4. Position based bleeding. If you only bleed when in a certain position it could be because your cervix could be getting hit straight on which can cause that.

It has happened to me a few times as well. My OBGYN said its not a big deal unless its excessive and that it is common. She said tears can happen sometimes small especially if its "rough". I would ask your OBGYN if you feel comfortable doing so just to make sure though.
