I try to eat a bigger breakfast. I usually have yogurt, fruit and other healthier options as snacks. I do not usually eat a lunch but eat dinner. Some days I just feel so hungry… read more

I found a diabetic nutritionist was very helpful to me in figuring out how to eat smaller amounts more frequently without being so hungry. Sometimes, I still have days where I'm just super hungry all day and it's usually related to my cycle (I think).

The most important thing that helped me was limiting my carbs to 20g for snacks and 40-50g at meals, as well as making sure to have fiber and protein every time I eat. I (am supposed to) eat a meal every 4 hours and a snack in between so that I am eating every 2 hours basically.. but I sometimes skip a snack or if I'm just not very hungry, I eat more "snack sized" meals and skip the full size meals .. that's not really recommended though because then you're not getting enough carbs and you could end up having cravings and over eating and your blood glucose goes kinda all over which can make you feel cruddy.
