Has Anyone Else NOT Lost Weight On Metformin?
Really was expecting weightloss, even a few lb. I've been taking 2000mg daily for nearly 8 months. 1000mg aftee breakfast, 1000mg after dinner. I'm considered obese according to BMI at 5'4, 218lb, in case this info matters. I also eat under 2000 calories daily, most days about 1800. No reatrictions yet on dairy, sugar, gluten... though I don't go crazy with them.
I am struggling too with losing weight. I just started taking my metformin again 500mg on top of going with a low to zero carb diet (Keto diet). Will see if I have any progress.
I never lost weight eather on metformin but i did loose 35kg on the dr atkins diet but craved carbs after 12 months and went stupid 😣
