Losing Weight
Ive done really well in the past with weight loss. It’ll go really well for some time and then stop completely. I hate that PCOS had made me gaib abdominal weight and makes it harder to lose. Does anyone have any suggestions who is consistently losing weight?
Ive had steady slow weight loss since 2003 for me the weight loss was kicked off with going onto high gear by going onto depo provera while on it lost close to 100 pounds and when i went off it i was close to my ideal weight and down to 23% body fat. From there its been a slow downwards loss with periods of no loss and just maintanance happening.
Eating habits havent really changed in the past 20 years save i went gluten free in 2012 after i learned ive got a issue with wheat. Ive been dairy free since the late 1990s and grew up vegetarian but went vegan/plant based in 2013 when other health issues surfaced to do some foods ive become intolerant towards (eggs being one of them).
Im not at stable goal yet but i flux between goal and 25 over so im decent in most regards.
It's really a mental game more than anything for me. I too am great at losing weight, but suck at keeping it off. This time I'm doing a lifestyle change. I eat mostly whatever I want - but I stick to a calorie deficit. Myfitnesspal is a great way to track calories. Good luck!
So my doctor put me on metformin and Im on a low carb diet. I like the low carb a lot i still feel like im eating all of my favorite foods and I dont feel like im on a diet.
