I was recently diagnosed with PCOS (Saturday just gone) and I’m really unsure about how I feel. I knew a little about it prior to my diagnosis but I didn’t read into it. Now that its been confirmed, the only thing that keeps ringing in my head is my fertility rate. I know that it is very different for all women but seeing as I haven’t had my consultation yet, I’m worried that the breakdown of my diagnosis would be worse than I thought.

Forget the fertility aide of things and concentrate on you and wokring towards a healthier you and being young.
Let the issue of fertility be answered when and if you are looking to start such complications to life. There are many options out there if things are needed that freatting about it does you currently no good so relax.

It’s okay to feel the way you are feeling! In fact give yourself a few days to grieve and be upset or angry and confused. When I found out I was 18 and so many people told me it wasn’t that big of a deal so many women have it you will be fine! So I didnt deal with my feelings or my health problems and now years later I’m dealing with bigger health problems I could have prevented. that doesn’t take away the fact that you are dealing with it now! After you have given yourself time to grieve and process take control and be motivated to find things you love to help you get yourself healthy! And you have found a great place of support!
