Is It Safe To Take Metformin AND Myo Inositol Together?

Does anyone know if it's safe to take metformin and myo inositol together? I've been taking insoitol for a few weeks now and my doctor wants me to try metformin. We are TTC and I want to do everything I can to increase my chances/fertility! Can I take them together?

I'd consult with your doctor to be sure. I know for me, the metformin can cause low blood sugars sometimes if I'm not careful. And I know inositol works in a similar way to metformin so I would just be cautious of that depending on what your doctor said.
