Can you take something else instead of the simvastatin? My doctor has me on fish oil for high cholesterol and triglycerides.

When did you take your last dose of the simvastatin? Would it technically be out of your system before you BD? Given that its a category X my gut reaction is telling you to wait - but I totally see how you don't want to miss an opportunity. I'm gonna circle back to check with your doctor ASAP and see if you can agree on a scenario where you can try this month with the doctors OK.
