Newly Diagnosed With PCOS. Advice Please!!

I started my birth control September 16 and am not supposed to start my period until October 7th but started today... is this normal? I know PCOS affects cycles but I thought my birth control was supposed to regulate my cycle? I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I found that I had to wait 2 or 3 cycles before you regulate your periods. That was my findings at that time. Sorry i can't offer more in the way of help, but be patient with it. Let you physician know what you other symptoms are .

They put me on birth control to start my period cause it had been almost 2 years since I had one. I was on it 1 1/2 weeks and started the WORST period of my life. Gushing so bad 2 big pads filled in 10 minutes, huge clots, extreme pain in the cervix/uterus area. So bad my dr put me on something to stop it. Day 2, and it's slowed but not stopped. Freaking miserable. I hope yours isn't bad... wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy... maybe. Lol
