What Kinds Of Food To Avoid For PCOS
So i had learned to avoid white bread and rice, awesome. was used to that. Then I hear that I have to avoid other foods as well. What foods do we have to avoid. Most of what is okay to eat, I hate the taste of, or it doesn't sit well with me (for example seafood).
Take all the "Foods to avoid" with a grain of salt. Everyone is different and not every food on these lists is going to be bad for YOU. When I was first diagnosed I tried to cut EVERYTHING out - gluten, soy, carbs, dairy, beans, blah blah blah. I tried keto I lost lots of weight - 30 lbs in 3 months - then I fell off the wagon and gained 50 lbs! I restriced TOO much and it just was not sustainable. It did allow me to figure out that dairy is not great for me, gluten does NOT bother me, artificial sweeteners are OK for me, and I can still eat pasta and rice and potatoes but I know the proper portion size now. I learned a lot. I think thats the most important part, is learning that you will always be figuring out what works and what doesnt and it's never ending - but we keep trying our best!
I am so sorry its MUFA Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) are a healthy type of fat. MUFAs may also help improve the function of your blood vessels. And some research shows that MUFAs may also benefit insulin levels and blood sugar control, which can be especially helpful if you have type 2 diabetes. Check out link below for more info

Beloved look into the keto diet, it follows those same eating habits and there are a lot of substitutions that are just as good as the real deal. There's a lot of groups on Facebook you can join to help you. It's a lot easier than you may think 😊
That list of "food to avoid" is insanity. Avoid foods that have a HIGH Glycemic Index because our bodies cant regulate Insulin and Glucose properly (every ones level varies). Once I looked those foods to avoid it made my food options more clear. I basically stay away from breads, cup cakes, cookies, cake, sweet drinks, limited fruits or juices. And eat more MOFA'S like nuts... those help regulate insulin and glucose.
