Could I Be Pregnant?

A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

So my period is 15 days late today. I've taken 2 test one on the 5th day and one on the 10th day late both were negative. I'm so confused right now I don't know what to do! I wiped on the 8th which was the 6th day late and saw a little pink but nothing after. I've been having some symptoms but I don't know if its me or if I'm really pregnant. Have anyone else experienced this before?

It's possible that you're pregnant. Have your periods always been regular? If not, then it could just be an irregular cycle. Also, if you've been under stress (work, home life, becoming pregnant), it can cause irregular cycles. You can make an appointment with your doctor and they can tell for sure. Hopefully you are!!!!

Difficult to comment without knowing how regular your cycle normally is . If it's not normal for you which I'm presuming it's not since you did test best thing to do is go to your doctor and get them to check . Or try put it out of your head (easier said then done) and see if nature kicks in when your not stressing. If in any doubt doctor can check in few days with blood test . If you are it could be too early for levels show on test especially if you have increased testosterone as if previlant with pcos. Hope you get an answer soon x

Thanks ladies! My cycles have become regular for a while now and this completely caught us off guard. We had stopped trying around July and just stop thinking about babies and getting pregnant. This is the first time I've ever went this long without a period and not being on any med or stressing about becoming pregnant. Usually if I take a test and it's negative my period would follow in a day or two. This time it's different. I think I'm going to wait until the end of the month and talk to my Dr. Thanks!
