Has anyone found anything that helps with fatigue?

My fatigue is so bad I am struggling to stay awake all the time. It does not seem to matter how many hours I sleep. I usually have a headache. Sometimes so severe that I will have distorted vision or no vision in one eye usually for a few hours. I don’t know how much longer I can keep up with life while dealing with this fatigue. I welcome any suggestions.

Members shared practical strategies for managing severe fatigue in PCOS, with many recommending vitamin supplementation, particularly B12, vitamin D, and iron, which several members reported made a noticeable difference in their energy levels after consistent use. Several members encouraged exploring potential underlying conditions like fibromyalgia, gluten sensitivity, or thyroid issues through testing with a rheumatologist or new doctor, emphasizing the importance of finding healthcare providers who truly listen and take symptoms seriously. A recurring theme was the exhausting struggle of needing excessive sleep yet never feeling rested, with members offering solidarity and hope through their own journeys of finally getting proper diagnoses and relief after years of suffering.

I have extreme fatigue and am working with my doctor, because I just can suffer through it anymore. I would suggest finding a good doctor that is willing to listen to you and work with you to find an answer.

I have been offered a variety of medications which some i tried but i decided not to be on anything, i saw a specialist which helped me greatly and she was pleased that i wasnt on any meds, i kind of know my body now and when im going to flare, i avoid caffeine as this is horrible for the joints and fatigue! Althoigh uou would think this would wake you up... it doesnt, i also eat a gluten free diet and low dairy! Fatty greasy foods can cause a flare ive noticed! Alcohol is a big no no!

They put me on amytriptilane this is a really old form of anti depressant but i had really horrible side effects, so stopped taking, i was also offered pregablin but after reading reviews i decided against this aswel! I take tumeric tablets every day as they are an anti imflammatory and natural product...ibroprofen and co codamol when im having a bad day, ive heard CBD oil is great but yet to try!you need to listen to your body and not push as this will make uour fatigue worse

I hope this helps

After you were diagnosed were there any treatments or medications that help? Do you feel any better than you did before your diagnosis?
