Has Anyone Here Seen A Nutritionist For Weight Loss And For A PCOS Friendly Diet?
And if so, have you had good results seeing a Nutritionist?
Yes for going to a dietician (you should see a dietician not a nutritionist as they are more qualified) anyways it wasnt for pcos, I went due to bloating and GI issues. However the results of going on a low fodmap diet for 8 weeks drastically improved some PCOS symptoms! It was because it was very strict but very healthy. You're not even allowed garlic powder, apples, broccoli, onions and garlic which are if course healthy. But I also wasnt allowed much sugar and no Fructose which means lots of reading packages. I wasnt eating bread either which is a big no anyways if you have pcos. I love my bread so eating gluten free bread was not appealing. I still to this day only eat brown rice pasta or chickpea pasta. I'm struggling a bit with diet now however I know what it takes to get back to where I need to be. Hope you do seek out a dietician.
