Anybody Else Experience Lots Of Sweating (night And Day) Around The Time They Get A Period? And Throughout Their Period?

And intermittently throughout the month…I guess they’re like hot flashes? Idk?

I do go through periods of mild to extreme hot flashes throughout the month. They're really worse right before my period. And what really sucks is, no amount of antiperspirant/deodorant is enough to curb it. My body completely rejects antiperspirant so I have resorted to natural deodorant like Native, which helps when it's not so hot and humid.

P.S. want to add that I hydrate fairly well with at least 7ish glasses of water a day so it's not like my hot flashes are a result of a dehydrated body either.

Omg me too!!! I go through some periods of time where honestly I feel like my sweat doesn’t really smell very bad honestly..? But at other times I can tell my hormones are acting up cause it feels like no matter what deodorant I use my sweat just smells “off”…sorry I know that prob sounds gross lol..but I also hydrate really well too cause I try to avoid the same (I actually drink 1 LMNT packet in 64oz water a day and then drink 2-3 more bottles of 64oz of water typically)
-I will say, my most recent doctor did urine testing of more hormones and determined my progesterone is extremely low (my estrogen is also a bit low but not terribly) so she put me on a progesterone cream every night that I’ve been using for about 2 weeks now? (Apparently it can take a few months to start working) and my night sweats haven’t disappeared but I feel like they’re slowly improving for sure…highly recommend the DUTCh urine test for hormones if you’re still investigating your levels! Sorry for long post! But thank you for your input/perspective, always helpful to know we’re not alone!!
