@A myPCOSteam Member No worries! It's all very confusing, but I will definitely talk to my obgyn about it once I find a new one. My symptoms are slight insulin resistance, cystic acne, low libido, fatigue, and no periods without birth control.

To be honest…there are different criteria for certain different types but I fall into a very strange category since I’m not overweight and I don’t get all the “classic” symptoms but I get alot of really weird ones…I’ve been trying to figure out what type mine is for awhile now but can’t say I’m positive…hoping the doctor I see this week will have more info. For example: I’m not overweight, no insulin resistance, testosterone (is currently within normal range), but I have irregular periods, “chains of cysts on my ovaries”, lots of pelvic pain, digestive issues, and much more..soo maybe your doc could help you figure out what “type”? But in my opinion, I don’t think the “types” are all the indicative of what to expect, etc. anyways, really sorry for the long post I guess I’ve just been wondering the same about myself as well! Lol
