Has Anyone On Here Tried Ozempic Or Any Similar Weight Loss/ Pcos Treatment Drugs?

I am thinking about trying Ozempic. I want to see if I can get rid of some of the fat in my gut. I am already fasting, exercising, and trying different diets. I'm curious about what the results would be if I took Ozempic or something similar to it.

I’m on Ozempic now, it is working wonderfully. The only side effect so far is it has made me burp like crazy.

I take Trulicity and I love it. It has helped me lose about 50 pounds being on it. However, I'm also a diabetic. My endocrinologist felt it was needed. It has helped me tremendously with my A1C. Because of the shortage, it might be hard to get as there are people who are not diabetic and are using it for whatever reason.

@A myPCOSteam Member An allergy free diet sounds interesting! I may try it if my other diet plan doesn't work. I'm trying to do the Atkins diet and want to see how that works out.

An allergy free diet can also really help with weight loss (if you’re up for trying it!). I started being gluten, dairy, soy, corn, egg, and peanut free about 10 years ago and staying on that diet has helped me SO much keeping weight and inflammation down and also with hormonal fluctuations. (Helped almost completely normalize cycle… for my mom she tried it during menopause and it eliminated her hot flashes…she’s still on it 7 yrs later now cause she just feels so much better..only took me 3 yrs to convince her to try the diet 🤣) typically you take out the foods for 30 days and then after 30days you reintroduce foods one by one to see which ones are causing the biggest reaction/most inflammation/symptoms and weight gain. Sorry for long post it’s just everyone I have recommended this diet to has honestly seen benefits…so I feel bad not suggesting it sometimes! I hope you figure out what works best for you though! Wishing you the best!

@A myPCOSteam Member Thank you for your response! 😆 I'm now on the Atkins diet and have changed my exercise plan. I may end up trying ozempic if my plans don't work out
