Hi, I am new here and I hope i will get a great support system from here.🤞So, i am having pcod with uterine fibroids. I have hirutism, severe cystic acne which are more frequent and struggling to shed my excess weight. I am also struggling with anxiety, high stress and bad emotional distress. I want to manage my pcod and know more about it so that i can get less stressed about it. My periods are scanty and getting scantier with every cycle . I am very much stressed about it..please help.

Hi there! I know some people aren’t necessarily up for trying this…however, if you’re open to it/willing to try it I highly recommend trying an allergen free diet!! I’ve been on a gluten, dairy, soy, corn, egg, and peanut free diet for over 10 years now. It helps significantly with maintaining my weight, mood swings, overall inflammation and fatigue, regulating my cycle (when I first started the diet my cycle actually started coming at least every 30-40 days…). It is honestly the only thing I’ve found that really keeps me sane dealing with PCOS symptoms…I originally got the idea from something called “the JJ virgin diet” but her book gets a little too detailed in my opinion as far as when to drink water, etc…when the main gist in my opinion is cutting out the allergens completelyyy for a minimum of 30days. After 30days, you can reintroduce foods one by one in order to see which foods you may be having any reactions to or could be preventing weight loss. (Cause you’ll know when you reintroduce it again after 30days if it affects you..) anyways, sorry for the long post I just know everyone I’ve ever recommended this diet to, regardless of what they were suffering from, (but particularly hormone problems), has benefited from this diet! It even eliminated my moms hot flashes and mood swings in menopause and allowed her to finally lose the weight she’d been struggling to lose. (It only took me 3 years to convince her to TRY the diet 🤣 lol) I hope you find what works best for you though! I know everyone is different! If you want any other info about the allergy free diet don’t hesitate to reach out though! Wishing you all the best!!
