Trans With PCOS
I'm a nonbinary person who was diagnosed with PCOS recently. I have no interest in getting pregnant, and honestly, I don't have that much weight to lose. I've been prescribed metformin, but every other treatment seems to focus on feminizing the body (which is totally great if that's what your after!) but I don't really mind looking how I look, I just want to make the best decisions for my health, avoid pain now and complications in the future. Any advice?
I have the same confusion as you. I dont wanna pregnant and keep taking The Pill. But what I am worry about is the pill do not allow me to ovulation. which means one of my reproductive hormone has never been normal.....
I think the biggest complications are infertility and insulin resistance! If infertility doesn’t seem like an issue for you, I would just say focus on a healthy diet to prevent the insulin resistance in the future! It’s great that you’re at a healthy weight, so probably just keep doing what you’re doing :) you may not need many interventions to maintain good health.
