I have tried CBT training and it really helps me. I found some of the worksheets online that my previous therapist went over to print out to give to me to work on. The website is https://www.therapistaid.com/therapy-worksheets...

Hi Jennifer, I really appreciate you sharing this resource! I always knew to practice journaling my thoughts to see what's affecting them. Never really thought about penning them down on worksheets. This is a good starting point. Thank you đź’ś

Hmm, I agree... acceptance takes a whole lot of courage. Really appreciate the insight, Kristin. Someone recently recommended CBT and idk how I feel about divulging my "issues" to another human lol I have MAJOR trust issues, you know. May be when the time is right and I feel ready but it is no secret that I am going through some serious crap

Soo…I did try it once…however I was back in high school and I was so miserable with my health at the time all they really knew to say was “can you find a way to accept the pain and still move forward..” needless to say…I didn’t take that very well lol cause in my head I’m thinking “well heck no I can’t accept this what’re you crazy?”..however I do think that CBT CAN be helpful! Especially cause I think it completely depends on your therapist. Plus it’s been recommended to me many times and honestly I should probably try it again…I was probably in such a bad place when I tried when I was younger (and I only tried with that one therapist I believe) that I wasn’t being as open to their suggestions as I should have..sorry I don’t have a better memory of it but I think it’s still worth a try to see if it works for you! Plus I always think it can’t hurt talking to someone anyways to help get through anxiety/depression/etc! Hope you figure out what works the best for your situation though and are able to find a good therapist 🫶
