Has Anyone Of You Ladies Had Any Type Of Weight Loss Surgery?
I'm in the process to get gastric bypass. I have a friend with PCOS as well and she had the surgery about a year and a half ago and has said it helped a lot with PCOS symptoms.
Yes, I had the sleeve done about 5 years ago...I have never regretted it. I was about 320 at my highest, dropped to 190 at my lowest about a year after surgery...now I stay around 225
@A myPCOSteam Member I'm getting a revision to the bypass soon. I thought my sleeve would help with my weight and diabetes but nope! I know you will do well with the bypass. Just know that it may be hard in the very beginning but it gets easier πβΊ
I wish I could afford or insurance covered a tummy tuck/lift for me girl! I would drop another size or two if could get the extra trimmed off. It didn't really do anything for my pcos symptoms, but it did correct my insulin resistance
I had the sleeve done in March 2016. I started at 349 and lost close to 100 lbs so far. I have been losing my hair and very tired. I know with the sleeve VS Bypass you are not as restricted with the sleeve. I can still eat some foods that my mother (who had Bypass) can't eat and makes her sick. So I just need to still watch what I eat since I can really still eat whatever without being sick. I just choose to eat a little better since I know that donut and sugar will not effect me like it should.
I Have A Lot Of Acne, And I Am Wondering If Anyone Has Found Any Product Thatβs Been Successful Or Tips To Help Clear It Up Abit?
