every doctor has a different idea of PCOS it seems...... my theory is GMOs and processed foods caused our own human hormones to malfunction.

I am also a lean PCOS patient. They told me to lose 5% of my weight and take Metformin. After 3 years of me making my problems worse (and zero help to fertility) I gave up. As far as I've researched, there are 3 different types of PCOS and each gets treated differently.

Yeh maybe your right I will prob have to look at something private if i get no where but it's a start actually going to a gyno .. nervous I've got a letter will ring mon to book my appointment.. my docs just can't seem to see past the anxiety in my case treating it as the problem instead of thinking maybe it is a symptom of something else. Maybe it is just anxiety but having a feeling I've got something hormonal going on and getting (sort of a diagnosis of pcos) makes me feel I'm right and it needs checking.. thanks everyone for the input!!! xXx

@A myPCOSteam Member If they keep giving you different tablets and don't know what's really going on, it could make you worse. Maybe you could try researching doctors in your area that know PCOS or even ask on here if there is a good doc in your area? It will be quite hard to stumble across someone without seeking them out, and you want to feel better sooner rather than later!
