Has any one missed a period after coming off inositol after having a regular cycle with it? I found out I was taking the wrong one and haven't had a period since stopping..coincidence?

There is myo inositol and d-chiro inositol. The ovasitol that you may see mentioned on this site, or elsewhere, is both types in the correct 40:1 ratio that our bodies require.

Hi Lisa. I started on that originally then went onto the tablet form which gave me periods but no ovulation. Its since been recommended by the gyne that it should be myo-inositol as it's a different part of the inositol family. He also recommened myova myo-plus and the reviews are good for it. I take 4 tablets a day split between morn and night and did the same with the inositol tablets. Unsure what the myova are like as it's my first day on them. Here is what they lool like

What do you mean the wrong one? I didn't know there was diff types of inositol and ones not to take to help PCOS. I've been using it for several months and getting no results so wondering if I'm not taking enough(back of container suggests 1/4teas once daily but idk if that's sufficient for treatment of PCOS) or if i possibly ordered the wrong type like you mentioned you did...TIA
