Anybody Else Have Severe Dry Skin? My Scalp, Brows, Patches On My Face. It Looks Terrible! Any Products You Recommend? It Comes In Spurts.

My eyes feel sandy. I have a few red spots on my face. Itchy scalp with tiny flakes (that get on my clothes). Dry skin in my brows. My face is a mess. It comes in spurts, like outbreaks. More so in dryer seasons. I've tried lotions, creams, soaks, shampoos. Any advice? Cool mist humidifiers help?

Vaseline (petroleum jelly) and I use a brand of shampoo and conditioner called ovg - coconut oil, coconut milk and egg whites. Good stuff!

Have you talked to your doctor about Sjogrens disease? The sandy eye symptom stood out and I remember reading about it how autoimmune disorders often correlate to another.

Since I have been on Whole30 my skin has cleared us tremendously. It was oily/dry and flaky at the same time. It burned and itched terribly. I have quit washing my face with soap and only use water and a microfiber cloth. I was really excited the other day when it felt greasy. Don't get me wrong I am still dealing with blemishes but overall it is better than it has been in 3 years.
