Provera makes you have a period. You take it for 7 days and then once you stop taking them your period usually starts 1-5 days after. So it is like a birth control pill, but doesn’t prevent pregnancy just starts your period if you don’t have regular periods. I would suggest you see a gynecologist and ask about Provera and see if it would work for you. If I’m not on birth control I will not have a period. I went 2 years without a period once and it was so painful :/ good luck to you!

@A myPCOSteam Member is Provera like birth control pills? I haven’t been to the gynecologist in a year. Every time I go they just want to put me on birth control and I was taking them for around two years and didnt make me feel very good that’s why I decided to try the natural way but it’s been 8 months that I quited birth control and since then I haven’t had any period :/
